The Government has announced that Estate Agents can now re-open offices and the property market can now resume from Wednesday 13th May, subject to the stringent Government guidelines set out by the Housing Secretary. We will be re-opening our offices from Monday 18th May and will be operating on an appointment only basis. Physical viewings, market appraisals and other necessary appointments can now be carried out and over the coming days we will be implementing measures adhering to the Government guidelines to ensure that we can continue working in a safe environment without compromising the health of all parties concerned.
Safety remains at the forefront of the way we will be conducting business over the coming weeks and we will be strictly following the Government’s guidelines to protect our clients, employees and the wider community.
Before any appointments are carried out, whether that is a meeting in the office or a physical viewing or valuation appointment, a member of our team will confirm the strict guidelines that must be adhered to and will be checking the health of all parties before appointments are confirmed. We will ensure that when carrying out viewings, market appraisals or any other necessary appointments, that we will be adhering to the guidelines by applying two metre social distancing, hand sanitising and using personal protective equipment where possible. Any necessary documentation in relation to viewing or valuation appointments will be provided via digital methods. To avoid any unnecessary time in contact with clients, some of our properties can be viewed online via virtual tours and we would encourage you to use this feature where possible.
Please contact us via telephone or e-mail in the normal way to discuss any queries or concerns you may have, or to arrange a viewing, market appraisal or appointment in the office and a member of our team will be happy to assist.
Please be assured that Sheridans are doing everything possible to ensure the safety of all parties concerned and wish to also take this opportunity to thank and express our appreciation to the NHS and all key workers for their crucial efforts in getting the UK through the coronavirus outbreak.
Stay safe.
With very best wishes from all the team at Sheridans
